Chumerna Skiing

Chumerna is the main ski area for Tvarditsa. The experts, who want the larger slopes, Bansko and Borovets are the places to go.

 

If you are after slopes for learning, or if you are a skier, and don’t want to hurtle down the black ski runs anymore, then Chumerna is the ideal place for you.

 

 With prices from 24 Levs (10 pounds per day) for hire of boots, ski’s and a lift pass, it’s amazing value for a day’s skiing.

 

Chumerna also has plenty of use during the out of ski season, with lots of hiking and mountain biking trails.

The holiday village of Chumerna, is located on the Ridge of the Stara Planina Mountains, at 1536m above sea level.

 

Conveniently placed, at the base of Chumerna ski piste, are 6 chalets that together, can accommodate up to 39 people.

 

Each bungalow has its own toilet and bathroom. The bungalows have water and electricity and are heated. The

Holiday Village Chumerna has its own mehana (bar/restaurant area) and it is possible to have meals prepared upon request.

 

Chumerna's base is reached by asphalt road and there is a parking area.
