Here in Tvarditsa there are many events throughout the year, some in the town, and others in very close proximity to Tvardisa. The Rally links between Elena and Tvarditsa, through the mountains and finishing in the actual town,with much festivity.

There are music festivals in the mountains, and Independence Day is celebrated at Kutra (the peak overlooking the town).

The traditional dance festivals,  contests and theatre productions,put on by the locals and professionals in the town are some of the highlights not to be missed
